The other day I saw a really inspiring quote. It said “There isn’t enough room in your mind for both worry and Faith. You must decide which one will live there.”

I love this quote because it tells it to you straight: if you are worried, you need to trust in God and give your worries to Him, because that is how you show your faith. Your mind doesn’t have the energy to hold on to worry but to also trust God with your problems. They contradict each other! You must decide turn-your-worries-into-faithwhich you value more. You must decide which you want to hold on to. For me, I had to decide whether I was going to worry about my life and my future, or whether I was going to put my faith and trust in my Savoir. Ever since I made that decision, I have felt so much peace about my situation. I know that God is in control, and that I need to continue to turn my worries into faith.

Just a little faith talk to inspire you today.

Where are my girls who are hurting? Broken-hearted? Feeling sad or alone? I hear you. And I know what it is like. I have a verse that I think will really speak to you, and that is Psalm 147:3, which says “He heals every shattered heart.”

It may not make you feel encouraged now, but just having the knowledge that your heart will not be in d393b5d339057f4bb13592aa6221d887pain forever, even though it may feel like it will, is comforting. God tells us in His word that He will heal our shattered hearts. In time, your heart will feel whole again. No pain is too great for God’s incredible healing. When you are heartbroken, it can feel like you are in a pit. Like you cannot get out and cannot see a light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t give up hope. Don’t lose faith. Your Heavenly Father will sew your heart back together and lift you out of your pit.

Sometimes, doing good is exhausting. Sometimes it can feel like you are the only one who really cares, and the only one who is trying to make a difference and do some good. You can feel alone and tired of being different. I know the feeling. Sometimes, the thought crosses my mind that it would be so much easier to be like the world wants me to be. It would be so much easier to go with the flow and conform to society’s standards. But then I remember Galatians 6:9 which says “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up.”galations

This verse pretty much says “Don’t give up!”, don’t let the world get you down and tell you that the good you are doing is not making a difference, and that you are incapable of changing the world. It can feel so lonely when other people don’t accept the way you live or how you act. But the Bible says to not grow weary. Don’t let the world exhaust you and make you think that you aren’t making a difference. Every good deed you do, every nice word you say, and every selfless action just shows people God’s love through you. God says that it will all be worth it if we do not give up! We will make a difference, and we will change people’s lives for the better.

Whenever you feel like you are just one person, and that your “doing good” is not making a difference, know that it truly is. Do not grow weary, don’t give up, because it is so worth it.

To me, one of the best things you can do for your friends and family to show them you love them and care for them is to build them up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says “Encourage each other and build each other up.”1-thesselonians

This is such an important thing to have in life – people who will build you up and encourage you. And it is an important personality trait for us to have ourselves. People like to be around people who are positive and make them feel good about themselves and supported. Life is so much better when you feel like you have a support system and people that believe in you and encourage you to be successful. Be that person for someone else. Be that person that builds others up and encourages them. People will be drawn to you and will want to be around you! It is so energizing to be around positive people.

I have been trying to share tons of encouragement over my social media to try and encourage and build YOU all up. I want to be that person for you, and I pray that you would be that person for someone else.

There are times in our lives where we are more worried than others. There are times when we have so many things going on and so many worries about that is happening now or what is going to happen in the future that we can feel overburdened and at our emotional limit. Philippians 4:6 says to “Turn your worries into prayers.” I love that message.philipians

Why worry when you can pray about it and give it to God? There are so many Bible verses like this one that tell us to give our worries to God and to not focus so much on them, because He has it all under control. Worrying does more harm than good. It can make us feel stressed, moody, and emotionally frazzled. I know firsthand how much of a negative impact worry can have on life. But, I have decided to turn my worries into prayers. I have decided to give my worries to God and trust in what He has in store.

Truting God with your worries takes such a burden off of you. It can make you feel free! If you are feeling heavy with all of life’s worries, give them to God.

Does the thought ever cross your mind that you have made so many mistakes and have sinned so much that you don’t feel like you deserve God’s love? We should never feel like that. It doesn’t matter what we say, what we do, what mistakes we make, God still loves us unconditionally.kid

My past was made clean by my King. Any mistake or sin that I made in the past has been washed away. If you ask God to forgive you, He does and doesn’t look back. It doesn’t matter how long or how often you have sinned, because we ALL sin and fall short of what God expects of us. But no matter how many times we fall down, He picks us back up and says that our past has been forgiven. We can move forward knowing that our sin and shame is behind us and we have a clean slate.

In our lives, we will all have times when we feel like we need a fresh start. God makes your past clean and gives you a renewed sence of purpose and a bright future. If you ever feel like you don’t deserve His love or forgiveness, just remember that He created you and loves you unconditionally. Your past can be made clean by your King.

Esther 4:14 says that “Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.” What does that verse mean to you? To me it means that God has put you on this earth at this time and has placed you where you are and with the people you are with for a reason.esthter

Maybe God has you where you are in life so that you can be an influence on the people that you work with and go to school with. Maybe He brought on a major life-change that you weren’t expecting or wanting because He wanted you to be somewhere else to influence someone else. Maybe He has you where you are so that you can be more involved in ministries or Bible studies to strengthen your Faith. He may be opening and closing doors in your life because He is leading you to bigger and better things. If we are patient and are open to His calling, we can realize the plans He has for us and for the people we will influence. This verse in Esther is talking about when a woman in the Bible named Esther was told that “you were born for such a time as this” and in your life, you can make a difference where God has placed you.

You may not see the opportunity now, but if you stay willing and open to His calling, you will find so much fulfillment in His plans!

Maybe you were born for such a time as this. This moment in time. This stage of life.

2 Corinthians 5:7 says “Walk by faith, not by sight.” It is hard to believe in things we cannot see. We like to be able to be able to see and touch things in order to believe they are real, but as Christians we are told to have faith like a child and believe without having all of the answers. 2-cor

What does it mean to walk by faith and not by sight? It means to believe in God even though you cant see Him. It means to means to live your faith out, and be Jesus with skin on. Show people that you are different and show them the joy that you have because you are living for a purpose greater than yourself. I strive every day to walk by faith. That is why you may have noticed that a lot of my social media posts lately have been faith-focused. I want to shine for Him!

If you ever have questions about what it means to be a Christian and what it means to have faith, please comment on my videos or posts and ask! I love answering questions and sharing what my faith means to me.

We all have tough times. We all have pain that we think won’t end, and sadness that seems to take over every other emotion. When life sends you into a deep dark pit, know that God will be there with a ladder to help you climb up and out. How do I know this? His word tells us in Exodus 15:26 that “I am the Lord that heals you.”ephesians

If you have watched my “life update” video on YouTube then you know there is a lot going on in my life right now, and the main thing that has kept me going is the knowledge that God has a reason for this season, and He will heal my heart in His time. Life is hard. We all know that, but even though we know it, we aren’t always prepared for when it bares its teeth. It always seems to do so at the worst time and when you least expect it.

Whether you are suffering from an illness, depression, anxiety, or even a broken heart, we can find comfort in knowing that nothing lasts forever and that the pain is temporary. This dark time cannot compare to the joy that is in store for you in this life! Keep hanging on. You are an overcomer.

“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”- Isaiah 60:22. Humans are impatient. It is one of my biggest weaknesses! We start to feel hopeless if something isn’t happening for us right away, or we get impatient with God and start questioning Him.

When things aren’t happening the way you thought they would, or when things aren’t happening in the timing that you

biblehoped, it can be frustrating. We are impatient, and we want things now. But, God knows when the time is right. He knows every detail of your life, and His timing is better than anything we could ever hope for on our own. As Isaiah 60:22 says, when the time is right, God will make it happen. And you know what? That is an awesome thing to look forward to!

Instead of becoming impatient when life doesn’t go the way we plan, we can look forward to the future and trust in His perfect plam for our lives.

Keep the faith!

Daniel 3:18 says “And if not, He is still good.” This verse may sound like adanieln incomplete sentence or may make no sense to you, but recently this verse has meant a lot to me. Here is what it means.

The “And if not” part of the verse is talking about the things in life that we want to happen. It is the things we dream about or strive for. It is saying that if those things don’t happen for us, if certain dreams don’t come true or if certain doors close, God has it all under control. He is still good. I read something recently that really hit me. It said that God literally cannot sin, so

anything bad happening in our lives is caused by Satan, not God. God can do no wrong. If God closes a door or changes your path so you do not have an opportunity that you thought you would get, or if life isn’t going the way you planned, He is still good. He will still carry you. He is taking your path in a new and better direction. It may not seem like it right now, in fact it may seem like He has turned His back on you, but that is never the case. He is still good. In fact, he may have closed those doors because He knows that by closing them, He is opening the door to an even bigger and better opportunity for you.

Be patient, hold strong in knowing that the God who created the whole entire universe cares about you and knows all of your hopes and fears, and look forward to the bright future He has in store for you.

“She confidently trusts the Lord to take care of her.” This is what Psalm 112:7 proclaims. I love these kinds of verses, ones that give us advice on how to trust God and where putting your faith in God can take you.122

Lets break that verse down. It starts out by saying that she CONFIDENTLY trusts the Lord. She doesn’t just trust Him. She has confidence and is sure of herself. She is sure of the Lord’s care for her life and that He has her future in the palm of His hand. Nothing surprises God. He knows just what you need when you need it. So, lets finish breaking this verse down. She confidently trusts the Lord to what? To take care of her. Isn’t that what most girls seek? To feel safe and to have the feeling that she is taken care of? God has that covered.

Trust confidently in the Lord! He will never let you down.

2 Timothy 4:17 says “But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength.” Have you ever felt like no one had your back and you were alone? Going to college in a new state, I was afraid that I would have a hard time making friends, fitting in and feeling timat home. This verse tells us that we never have to feel like that, because God has our back, always.

In situations where I feel like my faith is being attacked or I am being attacked personally, I always try to remember that the Lord is standing by me and strengthening me. Being on YouTube, I can read the comments on my videos, and sometimes they are not the sweetest words. Don’t get me wrong, there are way more sweet, nice comments and supporters than there are negative Nancy’s. But, sometimes those negative comments can overshadow all of the good. That is when I remember that the Lord with with me and is strengthening me. When you feel like you are alone in a situation, when you feel attacked or belittled, lonely, or you just feel weak and helpless, just remember that the Lord is always by your side, strengthening you.

You are never alone, and you never have to feel weak or helpless! God has your back, always.

As a college freshmen, there are a lot of things to feel nervous or scared about. Moving away, meeting new people, being psalmaway from my family, living in a new town, and all of the stresses of college are making me pretty anxious. When all of these things hit me and start to make me feel overwhelmed, the one thing that makes me feel calm is reading my Bible and diving into God’s word.

Psalms 56:3 says “When I am afraid, I will trust in You.” When you are afraid or scared for what the future may hold, we can trust in God and His plans. God’s plans for your life are bigger and better than you can imagine, and all we have to do is trust in Him and his timing. When you learn to turn to God and trust in Him when you feel uncertain or afraid, you will be amazed at the peace it brings to your life.

So, when you start to feel anxious or afraid, turn to God. Trust in His plans and look forward to the future!

We’re in the generation of wanting things at the snap of our fingers, right when we ask for it.  We often find it hard to trust that God’s plan is perfect and think that ours may be better in the long run.  It can sometimes get frustrating when we have to wait and be patient.  It may even start to feel like the wait is too much to bear.  Luckily, God gives us His word to help us turn to when we’re in need of patience!Chelsea Crockett - Patience Bible Verse

Proverbs 14:29 says, “Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.”  In this verse, God is telling us to be slow to anger.  We often get so frustrated when God doesn’t answer our prayers right away, or even at all.  We need to pray for understanding and self-control.  If you can’t change the outcome, change the perspective!

Ephesians 4:2 says, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”  This verse is a perfect verse to reflect on when struggling with patience with other people.  Be humble and kind, having love for even those who hurt and persecute you!

2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”  This is one of my favorite verses about patience.  God is never slow or absent, He is simply fulfilling His will for you (and His plan is perfect!)!  He is patient with us as we should be with Him!

I urge you all to pray for patience.  It will change your perspective and give you peace in all situations.

Love, Chelsea

Isaiah 58:22 says “Where God guides, He provides.” This verse, to me, is comforting because of the huge change about toisaiah happen in a lot of our lives. If you are going away to college, moving out, or moving away, then I think this verse is for you.

Where God guides, He provides. Wherever he takes your path, and wherever he sends you, He will provide. If it is halfway across the country or just a few minutes away, wherever you go He will not let you down. It can be scary moving out and moving away from the familiar, from your family and friends, and it can be nerve wracking being in a new place without these people. But, God will provide you new friends that feel like family, and he will provide you with the strength you need to feel at home and successful. He wouldn’t guide you to a new place if He didn’t know you would flourish. He always wants what is best for you because He is your father! Whatever you need, He will provide it for you, all you have to do is pray to Him and ask for it. It might not come right away, but God always has a plan and His timing is perfect.

Be comforted in knowing that wherever you go, God will provide!
