Almond Milk Hot Cocoa

A cup of hot cocoa is just what I need after a long day of walking from class to class in the cold. Hot cocoa isn’t the healthiest treat, though, and I am trying to live a healthy lifestyle. That is why I am grateful for healthy, delicious recipes like this next one! What is great about this almond milk hot chocolate is that it is dairy free, a good source of protein, and is guilt-free.


  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons of natural cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons of almond butter

In a sauce pan, combine the almond milk and add cocoa powder. Whisk this mixture while it heats, until it is smooth. Turn off the heat and stir in the almond butter. Enjoy this tasty treat while it is warm!

What a great, quick, healthy way to warm up this winter.
