It’s my favorite time of the year! Falling leaves, cooler temperatures, and starlit nights by the campfire are something we all look forward to. There’s nothing better on a chilly night than making s’mores by the fire. While melting marshmallows on a stick and putting them on a piece of chocolate between two graham crackers is divine…..there are other ways to enjoy s’mores too!
If a campfire isn’t available, another way to satisfy that s’more taste is with s’more bars like the ones on the left! They are gooey and rich and can be made ahead of an event. You can google s’more bar recipes and find all different kinds. If you keep them in an airtight container, they stay moist and last for days.
A healthier twist on s’mores is s’more candied apples. Some people like that graham cracker taste but want to add some nutrition to their bite. In that case, s’more candy apples are the answer. You can look up the exact recipe but basically it’s a Granny Smith apple on a stick dipped in marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker crumbles! YUM!
