How do you feel about the over-the-knee sock trend? I personally love it. I love the accent they add to your ensemble and the adorable flare they give. Want to know how you can rock this trend? Read on!

Super casual: Pair a large oversized sweater with over-the-knee socks and over-the-knee boots. This look is the perfect combo of cozy and casual.
With a dress: This is my favorite way to wear these trendy socks! Pair a simple shorter dress with a long cardigan and short booties. Don’t forget the knee socks! Also, you can layer in a scarf that is the same color of the socks which will tie the whole outfit together.
With a skirt: Pair a simple skater skirt with a patterned long-sleeved shirt, tights, dark socks and wedge booties! Love love love it!

Do you think that you will rock this trend? I will! I think it is super slimming and trendy. I got my over-the-knee socks at Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe!

Rice Krispy treats are such a classic. Add in a little pumpkin and you are ready to party! Here is how to make your very own perfect pumpkin Rice Krispy treats!

4 cups marshmallows
½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
¼ cup pumpkin
3 tbsp butter
6 cups Rice Krispy cereal

1.Place your butter into a large pan on medium low heat and let it melt

Add in the marshmallows. When your marshmallows have melted, add in the pumpkin and the spices and stir. Toss in your Rice Krispies and mix them with the marshmallow goo.
Pour your yummy mixture into a 9×13 baking pan that has been greased with butter. Flatten out your treats. I like to cover the bottom of a wooden spoon in butter and then use it to flatten the treats. The butter helps the treats not stick to the spoon!
Wait a few minutes for them to cool, then slice them up.

The last step is to gobble them up! These treats are fun to make with friends or bring to parties. They are a crowd favorite!

Halloween is almost upon us, which means you need an arsenal of Halloween treats at your disposal! Here is an easy yummy fall treat to make for your Halloween parties!

Ingredients: DSC_1820-300x350

1 bag of mini pretzels
1 bag of M&Ms (you will only need the green ones, so feel free to snack on the other colors )
Orange food coloring
1 bag white chocolate chops melted slowly
Shortening to thin out the chocolate

The first step is to melt the chocolate. Add 1 tablespoon of shortening to the bowl of white chocolate chips before you warm them in the microwave. Warm the chips a little at a time and stir them frequently. Then, add in your orange coloring and stir gently until it is smooth. Take out a cookie sheet and line it with wax paper. Dip your pretzels into the white chocolate and then lay them onto the cookie sheet. While the chocolate is still wet, take a green M&M and set it in the crook of the pretzel on its side. Now you have a sweet little stem on your pumpkin! Allow the pretzels to cool and then place them on a cute serving platter! Now you have a sweet and salty snack that everyone will love.

Pumpkin carving can get messy. It is quite the process. You get pumpkin guts from head to toe, and it’s not an easy feat! Here are a few mess-free, hassle free ways to decorate your precious pumpkin this year!

Gold polka dot pumpkin: Paint your entire pumpkin with gold paint. Then, paint black polka dots onto your pumpkin. This look is super chic and super classy and adds a preppy flare to your pumpkins!
Candy corn pumpkin: Do you like candy corn? Then you will love this! Paint the top third of your pumpkin white, leave the middle orange, and then paint the bottom yellow. Your pretty pumpkins will look just like delicious candy corn.
Chevron: Chevron is such a classic pattern. Slap this on your pumpkin and you cannot go wrong!
Chalkboard paint pumpkin: Paint an entire pumpkin in chalkboard paint and then draw on it with chalk!

Now get out there and go decorate a pumpkin! Grab a few friends and make a party of it.

Flash Tattoos: I just discovered these magical things. They are temporary foil tattoos that come in all kinds of designs and all shapes and sizes. They’re perfect to wear to concerts, festivals, parties, anywhere! Add a little “fun” to your skin with these trendy tattoos.

It’s almost fall, y’all! I am SO looking forward to fall. There are a ton of reasons why I am counting down the days until this s’mores filled, bonfire-going season is upon us, and here they are!

HOT CHOCOLATE: Need I say more? There are so many kinds of hot chocolate, too. I especially love peppermint hot chocolate!
Cuddling with blankets bc no bae: Or cuddling with my dogs. Who needs a bae when you have three adorable pups?
Pumpkin picking with frands: A super fun thing to do with your friends in the fall is pumpkin picking! If you and your friends are ever bored and out of ideas of things to do during the fall, pumpkin picking is your solution. You can even carve your pumpkins together after you pick them!
The smells: AKA PUMPKIN SPICE: Pumpkin spice candle, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice cookies, pumpkin spice pancakes, the whole shebang! The smell is so comforting and just makes me feel so happy! And so ready for Thanksgiving!
Chilly weather: Chilly, but not freezing. Like, boots scarf and a light jacket. Perf.

There are a few things that every girl needs to be a fall fashionista. They make or break your cool-weather wardrobe and ensure that you will ALWAYS have something cute to wear when the weather gets chilly. Here are 6 items that your fall wardrobe cannot do without:

Wrapped sweater: This kind of sweater is perfect because it is cozy and warm and super stylish. I love to pair it with a pair of riding boots and dark skinnies!
Black jeans: Black jeans are so chic and versatile. They can be worn in both casual and dressy situations. I love pairing my black skinnies with everything from a jean button up and infinity scarf to a cute flannel and combat boots.
White V-neck: White V-necks go great under sweaters and army jackets! Toss on a pair of distressed skinny jeans and combat boots to complete the look.
Riding boots: Ugh. I love riding boots. They are so classy and make any outfit look so put-together! I like wearing my riding boots with a white button up with the sleeves rolled just a little bit with dark skinnies and a statement watch.
Flowey blouse: Everyone has their favorite flowey blouse that they wish they could wear every day! Grab one in a fall color like dark purple or crimson.
Stripped shirt: Striped shirts are the perfect mix of classy, nautical, and preppy. Wear them under a sweater or army jacket or just rock em by themselves with a pair of dark skinnies!

It’s every fashion lover’s dream to attend the most sought after week in fashion, New York Fashion Week! Some of you may be wondering what NYFW is. It’s a time where the most recognized and up and coming designers come together to showcase their designs. This year brought out the crazy in some designers with wacky and creative clothes and displays! Check out all that happened this year at NYFW!

When fashion week takes place in the fall, then that means they are showcasing designs for the spring/summer 2015 seasons. One of the biggest trends seen on the runway was floral! From Stella McCartney to Alberta Ferretti, floral prints were placed on some of the biggest designers clothing. Dresses and pants were covered in pretty flower designs and paired with over-the-top accessories. Another huge trend to hit the runway was fringe! The fringe detail was added to the bottom of skirts and dress and even under the arms of jackets!

Miley Cyrus made a crazy appearance at the Jeremy Scott show by creating her own jewelry pieces for the models to wear out of beads and embellishments. Other celebs like Kendall Jenner and Karlie Kloss were seen strutting their stuff on the runways.

NYFW was a full week full of A-list celebrities and couture designs. Keep your eyes peeled next time you go shopping for some of these fabulous clothes!
