As we all know, layering is a must in autumn and winter. Why not have fun with it? I love the look of collars. They add a preppy flare to any ensemble. There are so many kinds of collars, too! Here are a few outfits that combine collars with other cute fall fashion staples.collars

  1. With a simple blazer: I love this cool, classy look. Pair a simple white button up collared shirt with a simple blazer, such as a navy or grey blazer. Button the shirt all the way up to the top so that all of the buttons are buttoned and the collar is displayed. Add in a long simple necklace, skinnies and booties!
  2. With a cable knit sweater: This is the perfect preppy look. Layer a cable knit sweater over a white collared shirt for an easy, classy look! Add in a pair of riding boots and wayfarer sunglasses and you will be the most preppy lady on the block!
  3. Dressy: I love sequins. Anything that sparkles is totally my fav. That is why I love this sequin collar trend! You can dress it down and wear it to school with a pair of skinnies and flats, or you can dress it up with a blazer and wedges! Love love!

Sweaters are the coziest thing on God’s green earth. In the cold weather months, I practically live in sweaters. One way to switch your sweaters up is to layer them with other shirts or jackets. Here are a few ways to spruce up your sweaters this fall.

  1. Poncho it up: I really like the poncho sweater look. These are so classy and simple! Pair a neutral colored poncho with a long sleeved striped shirt. To complete the look, add in a pair of leggings with boot socks and riding boots!sweater poncho
  2. Frills: I have rocked this look multiple times already this fall! I love the subtle girly flare that it gives off. If you want to add a little bit of edge to the outfit, add in a pair of black combat boots!sweater frilly
  3. Preppy: I have mentioned this trend multiple times before, but it is just too good not to bring up! Layer a button up under a sweater for a classy, preppy look. The button up can be in any pattern you please.

Now go pull on a sweater and cook cute as can be!

How to wear a beanie may seem like a simple question, and it really is! Just shove it on your head and you’re good to go, right? Not always. There are so many different styles of beanies and there are so many looks that you can create with them! Here are my favorite styles this season.

  1. The original: Do you have a basic beanie? The easiest way to rock it is over your forehead and on a downward angle to thetumblr_md8ibd1yWR1qboqbv back of your head covering your ears. This style is simple and fuss-free, plus it will keep you totally toasty! Pair your beanie with a white v-neck and dark jeans with combat boots.
  2. With a braid: If you prefer your hair pulled back in some kind of way when you are wearing your beanie, then this style is for you. Try a loose braid with your beanie! This style is really useful on windy days
  3. With bangs: If you have bangs, then there are plenty of styling options with your beanie. If you have full bangs just wear the beanie a bit further back on your head so your bangs aren’t flat on your forehead. You can also wear your bangs sweeping to the side and peeking out for the front of the beanie.
  4. Make a statement: Wear a super bright colored beanie or one with a fun pattern! Making a statement is always fun!

I love finding new ways to wear my beanies! What is your favorite way to wear them?
