Pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING is the rave right now! That is why I have whipped up a sweet recipe that combines my favorite vegan food, bananas, and a fall favorite, bananas!
- 4 large very large bananas, frozen
- ½ cup fresh or canned pumpkin puree
- Optional: honey or maple syrup to add some natural sweetness!
blend the frozen bananas and pumpkin together in a blender until creamy. The bananas must be frozen before you make this dish even if you are going to freeze the ice cream after blending. Taste and add some sweetener, like maple syrup or honey, if you so desire. Serve immediately for soft serve texture or if you want a firmer dish you can freeze it for around 4 hours!
Because this dish only has 2 ingredients, bananas and pumpkin, it is a great healthy sweet treat!
