I am a lover of all things chocolate, especially brownies! The only downside to brownies is the countless calories that are packed into every delicious bite. Imagine my surprise when I found brownies that were made with avocados, the greatest superfood on the planet! I know you might be skeptical, but just hear me out!

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 3.5 oz bar of dark chocolate
  • 1 cup coca powder
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt

Preheat the oven to 355 degrees and grease an 8 inch baking dish. In a blender, puree the avocado with the eggs, vanilla and water. Next, melt the chocolate and mix it with the avocado mixture in the blender. Add in the coca powder, sugar, baking soda and salt and then combine. Pour the mixture into the baking pan and then smooth it out. Make if for 20-25 minutes and then let them cool. Then eat up!

These brownies don’t have any gluten and are low fat, so they are totally yummy and completely guilt free!
