Since most of us don’t have the time or money to go to Starbucks every day, it’s time to learn some DIY fruity drink recipes we can make right in our homes!  There’s nothing better than hitting up the pool with some refreshing drinks at hand.  Here are 3 drink recipes that are healthy, hydrating, and delicious!

  • Watermelon Agua Fresca.Chelsea Crockett - Fruity Drink  For this recipe, you’ll need 3 cups of cubed watermelon, ¼ cup of lime juice, 4 mint leaves, 2 cups of water, and ice!  Add all of the ingredients except the mint leaves in a blender and mix them together until it is well blended.  Refrigerate the mixture for a few hours if you want it to be cooler, or else simply add a few mint leaves and ice cubes and enjoy!
  • Fizzy Pineapple Punch.  For this delicious punch, you’ll need a 6 oz. can of limeade, a 12 oz. can of pineapple juice, 4 ½ cups of cold water, 1 liter of club soda, assorted fruits, and mint leaves.  In a large pitcher, mix together the juices, water, and club soda.  Put the fruits and ice cubes in different glasses and pour the punch in.  Finish it off with some mint leaves for decoration like the picture on the right! 🙂
  • Lemon Pineapple Kiwi Sparkling Mocktail.  You’ll need 1 kiwi, 3 teaspoons of pineapple juice, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 1 can of La Croix sparkling lemon water.  Blend together the unpeeled kiwi, pineapple juice, and honey.  Split the mixture into glasses and fill the rest the glass the rest of the way with the sparkling water.  And lastly, enjoy!
