Warm cookies are one of my greatest weaknesses. I am trying to watch what I eat and live a healthy lifestyle (check out my YouTube channel for my fitness routine!) so I attempt to minimize the sweets I eat. It’s tough, y’all. Here is a great way to enjoy warm gooey cookies without worrying about the guilt. They’re dairy free and gluten free, but our taste buds won’t know the difference!
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
- 1 egg
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir until the batter is smooth. The batter will be thick like cookie dough. Scoop a spoonful out and roll it into a small ball. Take a fork and do the traditional crisscross pattern on the top, flattening the cookie. Bake them for 13-15 minutes or until they are slightly golden brown. Let them cool for about 10 minutes, then devour!
