You always hear that giving up is never an option.  Every time you hear those two words, they automatically give off a negative connotation.  You’re always told to “never give up,” and most of the time I agree.   But in certain cases, giving up can be considered a good thing!

  1. When it comes to standards, we should give up trying to meet everyone’s expectations. Chelsea Crockett - Giving Up We’re not perfect people and we’ll never be!  Once you admit that to yourself and know you can never be what everyone wants you to be, you’ll be much happier at the end of the day.
  2. Give up complaining and a negative mindset.  Constant complaining weighs down not only yourself but those around you.  How can you be in a good mood when all you’re doing is pointing out the negatives?
  3. Give up the past.  If you can’t give up the past, then you can’t move forward.  Letting go of any mistakes or regrets that can’t be changed is healthy!  There’s no need to worry about things that are over and done with when you could be focusing on improving yourself for the future!

What are you going to give up?  Maybe the idea of perfection?  Or any negativity you’re holding onto?  If so, I urge you to do so! 🙂

XOXO – Chelsea
