Nature is one of God’s most wonderful gifts!   It’s all around you, so why not take advantage of it?  It’s easier to be happy when you’re outside in the warm sun and cool breeze.  It’s much better than being stuck indoors!  Whenever possible, get up and go outside!  I promise it’ll make all the difference.

Your body recognizes when it’s outdoors and indoors.  Greenness, water, plants, and sun are proven to relax the body.  It does some good for the mind, body, and soul.  Just a few minutes outside a day can reset the body and reduce stress.  It’s also a great way to get vitamin D, which can be produced naturally in the body through sunlight exposure.  Vitamin D aids in a healthy immune system, helps us keep a healthy weight, prevents cancer, and can reduce inflammation.  It’s so important to be out in the sun!

Another benefit of being outdoors is your endurance!  When working out, it’s easier to run farther when you have beautiful surroundings to look at.  It’s a sort of distraction!  Try going for a Chelsea Crockett- run outsidelonger run than usual throughout a park or neighborhood or do pull-ups on a tree branch.  You can even do your ab work in the nice open field of green grass.  Your mind won’t even realize how hard your body is working!
