I am all about wrinkle prevention. Most of us think that wearing sunscreen and keeping our face moisturized is all it takes, but that isn’t the case! There are quite a few weird habits that can prevent wrinkles and protect your skin. Wrinkles and skin damage are caused by factors that we can and cannot control. Exposure to the sun and smoking are big causes of wrinkles, but a healthy diet, good sleep, moisturizing and sunscreen can protect against wrinkles. Here are some weird habits that help protect your skin from damage and aging.

  1. Sleeping position: Sleeping on your back is best for your face! Sleeping on either side can cause wrinkles on the sides of your face that you sleep on, and gravity begins to take its course.
  2. Chocolate: Yep, you heard that right! A little dark chocolate a day can help protect your skin from the negative effects of sun-exposure. The antioxidants naturally found in cocoa are great for your skin.skincare
  3. Washing your face less often: This may sound weird, but too much cleansing strips your skin of its natural oils and moisture, and those are things that help protect against wrinkles.
  4. Cutting back on sugar: That second latte of the day may seem harmless, but it is actually causing more harm than good! Excess sugar in our blood stream causes early aging in our skin.

The healthier your habits and the more you protect your skin, the less likely you will be to get those unwanted wrinkles. The earlier you start on prevention the better!

Vitamin E oil can help those pesky acne scars fade away! If you gently massage the oil into your scars in a circular motion, the oil will penetrate deep into your skin and repair the tissue at the source! It can also be used to help remove stretch marks

2. Anti-aging:

Because vitamin E oil is packed with powerful antioxidants, if it is regularly applied to your skin it can help smoothen out fine lines and wrinkles, as well as prevent the chance of wrinkles forming in the future! By adding this oil to your skin routine every day, you can prevent future wrinkles? Count me in!

3. Makeup remover and deep cleanser:

Add this oil to a cotton ball and rub it all over your face. This will cleanse your skin of all the dirt and grime that has accumulated on your skin, as well as remove your makeup!

It is a much healthier source of energy than coffee. What I didn’t know, though, was that green tea has SO many other great health benefits! It has been called “the healthiest drink on the planet”. Let’s find out why!

  1. Increases fat burn and physical performance: Green tea has been shown to increase fat burning and increaseGreen-Tea your metabolism! And because green tea gives you natural, healthy energy it can increase your physical performance when exercising my mobilizing fatty acids from fat tissues and making them available for use as energy! Also, green tea doesn’t make you gittery like coffee does.
  2. Can improve brain function and make you smarter: Green tea doesn’t just keep you awake, it can also make you smarter! It gets all of your neurotransmitters firing which gets your brain up and at ‘em. green tea has also been shown to improve mood, reaction time, and memory!
  3. Anti-aging: You may think that it is a bit early to be thinking about this topic, but it is NEVER too early! Not only does green tea improve your brain function at this time, but it also protects your brain as you get older! 1. Honey: Adding honey to your bath can help soften and smooth your skin, as well as detox your body!

2. Tea: tea has anti-aging properties, as well as detox abilities! So, if that is what you are looking for, then toss some tea bags into your bath!

3. Milk: Yup, milk! If you get a killer sunburn- like, lobsters are jealous of the fiery red shade of your skin- then milk is your saving grace! Milk calms your skin, as well as keeps it smooth.mmc

4. Salt: Salt can be added to your bath to reduce pain, inflammation, and to relax you!

5. Lemon: Add this to your bath if you are looking to shrink your pores, refresh your skin, and revive yourself!
