Brownie batter dip, where have you been all my life? If you are looking to be the life of the party, bring this bad boy with you to your next holiday party this season. Brownie batter dip pretty much sums up my life motto: chocolate makes anything better. This dip is great on anything, from strawberries to pretzels to apples and animal crackers! Here is how to make this deliciously chocolaty dip.

Ingredients:img_1162

  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • ¼ cup butter softened to room temperature
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2-4 tablespoons milk
  • Chocolate chips for topping
  • Pretzels, strawberries, graham crackers, apples, animal crackers for dipping

In the bowl of a mixer, whip together the cream cheese and butter until it is light and fluffy for 1-2 minutes. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. Add the flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, vanilla and 2 tablespoons of milk. Mix until fluffy and smooth. Add additional powdered sugar and/or milk if you want to change the consistency of the dip. The dip should be soft enough to dip a pretzel in but not so soft that it is more of a liquid.

Enjoy!

You’ll need these nine specific ingredients: ¾ cup of all purpose flour, ¼ teaspoon of salt, ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, ½ teaspoon of baking powder, 1 ½ cup of sugar, ¾ cup of butter, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, 3 eggs, and lastly, 4 full-size packages of Kit Kat bars. For the cream cheese topping, you’ll need a few more ingredients: 8 oz. package of cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and a 16 oz. package of confectioners sugar.

All together, the recipe makes a total of 24 brownies. Don’t eat them all in one sitting :)! Alright, first things first… the homemade brownies.
