Do you use a cleansing brush like a Clarisonic? If so, there are some crucial steps you really cannot skip when it comes to your cleansing routine! This doesn’t just mean cleaning the brush, it deals with so much more! Read on to learn about how to get the most out of your cleansing brush.

  1. Use plenty of face wash and water: Fill the entire inner circle with cleanser, about a quarter sized amount, and then use the brush. Also, make sure you soak your brush in water to get the best pore cleaning action.clarisonic-mia-2-sea-breeze_1
  2. Keep it clean: Don’t share your brush…ever! Not with friends, not with siblings, no one! You don’t want to share bacteria with all of them! Clean the brush head with shampoo to keep the bristles clear of residue and oil after every few uses.
  3. Don’t double exfoliate: Make sure you don’t use cleansing soaps that have microbeads or other rough exfoliates when using the brush. Double exfoliation is really rough on your skin!

Keeping that brush clean will help you get better skin, and longer use out of it!

On the other hand, you know all of that dirty stuff that the brush scrubs off? It goes into the brush, so that means it needs to be cleaned out or else you are just rubbing dirt all around your face! Here is how to clean your brush to keep your face nice and healthy.
You need:

– Baby shampoopro
-a small container
– 1/4 cup of water
-1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide

Use a dime size amount of baby shampoo to clean your brush and use circular motions to rub it against the palm of your hand. Rinse well with water. Next, pour 1/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup of peroxide into a glass. Stir it well abd place your brush head into the glass and let it soak there for about 15-30 minutes. Don’t leave it in the solution too long or it will ruin the bristles!
I hope this cleaning method works for you ladies!
