Now that we are approaching the warm weather season, one thing is clear: we have to start shaving our legs again. It is so nice to take a few days (okay weeks) off of shaving during the winter months. I am always looking for ways to cut down my shaving time/frequency, and here are the tricks that have served me well!
- Go against the grain: A easy trick to shave less is to shave
against the grain of your hair. This ensures that you are getting the closest shave possible and saves you time by not having to go over the same spot twice!
- Exfoliate: To get a close shave every time you should exfoliate your skin often. This gets rid of the dead skin and also exposes any hairs that you may have missed.
- Condition: Use conditioner instead of shaving cream! Not only will it save you money, it also keeps your skin soft and healthy.
- Cut the carbs: The foods you eat can actually promote excess hair growth! Carbs do this. Cut back on the carbs to keep you hair from growing so you can shave less often.
Now you can have silky smooth legs all summer long!
