Lemme tell ya… cold weather can be rough on the skin! As soon as the temperature drops, my face starts getting drier and drier. I’ve tried different products that have worked for my skin type and others that have made it even worse. I’ve found a few DIYs you can do at home that actually make a difference and cost almost nothing!
- Egg yolk on your face might not sound like the most pleasant thing, but egg yolk contains proteins that help with shedding skin! Mix together a teaspoon of olive oil and two egg yolks. Apply the mixture to your face for about 5 minutes and rinse it off with warm water!
- Mix together a teaspoon of sugar and the juice from half of a lemon. The sugar works as a scrub to remove any dead or flakey skin. The lemon juice helps promote skin growth which leaves your pores smooth and glowing! Scrub the mask on in a circular motion for about 10-15 minutes. Then rinse it off!
- Dry skin doesn’t only appear on your face. If you have problems with dry skin on other areas of your body, put a cup of sea salt in a warm bath and relax in it for 20 minutes or so! If you repeat this process 2 or 3 times a week, your skin will be detoxed, smooth, and hydrated!
