Since most of us don’t have the time or money to go to Starbucks every day, it’s time to learn some DIY fruity drink recipes we can make right in our homes!  There’s nothing better than hitting up the pool with some refreshing drinks at hand.  Here are 3 drink recipes that are healthy, hydrating, and delicious!

  • Watermelon Agua Fresca.Chelsea Crockett - Fruity Drink  For this recipe, you’ll need 3 cups of cubed watermelon, ¼ cup of lime juice, 4 mint leaves, 2 cups of water, and ice!  Add all of the ingredients except the mint leaves in a blender and mix them together until it is well blended.  Refrigerate the mixture for a few hours if you want it to be cooler, or else simply add a few mint leaves and ice cubes and enjoy!
  • Fizzy Pineapple Punch.  For this delicious punch, you’ll need a 6 oz. can of limeade, a 12 oz. can of pineapple juice, 4 ½ cups of cold water, 1 liter of club soda, assorted fruits, and mint leaves.  In a large pitcher, mix together the juices, water, and club soda.  Put the fruits and ice cubes in different glasses and pour the punch in.  Finish it off with some mint leaves for decoration like the picture on the right! 🙂
  • Lemon Pineapple Kiwi Sparkling Mocktail.  You’ll need 1 kiwi, 3 teaspoons of pineapple juice, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 1 can of La Croix sparkling lemon water.  Blend together the unpeeled kiwi, pineapple juice, and honey.  Split the mixture into glasses and fill the rest the glass the rest of the way with the sparkling water.  And lastly, enjoy!

Which one are you going to try out?  I’ve tried all three and they’re so, so good! 🙂

Dark circles are every girl’s worst nightmare! They can be so hard to cover up and make you look tired or even sick!  Creams and cover ups only solve the problem temporarily, but did you know there are treatments you can do at home to get rid of dark circles for good?  Check out these easy at-home remedies to banishing dark circles once and for all.Chelsea Crockett- tea bags

Before trying any of these treatments, make sure you are getting enough sleep! Lack of sleep is one of the biggest contributors to dark circles.  Also, an iron deficiency can cause dark circles.  If your doctor says so, try an iron supplement.

At home remedies:

  • Dip two tea bags in cold water and then place them on your eyes for 15-20 minutes.
  • Almond oil is the most effective oil for treating dark circles. Rub a small amount under each eye before you go to bed. As long as you get a proper amount of sleep, the oil should reduce the darkness and puffiness.
  • For a quick and less permanent treatment, rub an ice cube under your eyes. The coldness with tighten your skin and allow for a new flow of blood.
  • A cooling effect immediately wakes up tired eyes. Let crushed mint leaves sit under your eyes for 10 minutes. Wipe off the residue with a damp cotton ball.
  • Tomatoes work wonders for treating dark circles! Prepare a mixture of 1 teaspoon of fresh tomato juice, ½ teaspoon of lemon juice, and a pinch of turmeric and gram flour. Rub it under the eyes and let it sit for 10 minutes.

If you have dark under eye circles, it’s not the end of the world! Between creams, makeup, at-home remedies, and just treating your body with care, banishing those pesky circles aren’t so bad after all!

XOXO,

Chelsea
