During the colder months, you’ll most likely find me wearing leggings every day of the week.  They’re so comfortable and can be dressed up or dressed down for almost any occasion.  Although they’re more known for lounging around in, you can pair them with different articles of clothing to dress up your outfits and be just as comfy! 🙂

  • Oversized Sweater and Boots.  Chelsea Crockett - Leggings and a SweaterI’m sure you could already guess that oversized sweaters are going to be back in full swing this fall!  Rock a simple pair of black leggings and a pair of your favorite boots with a big sweater.  This is one of the comfiest outfits ever and it still looks like you put yourself together!
  • Graphic Tee and Sneakers.  I’m a huge fan of the street style look, and this outfit represents it perfectly.  Old rock tees or athletic brand tees with a pair of leggings and Adidas sneakers can still be dressed up or down depending on the occasion!  It’s such a cute and edgy look.
  • Long Poncho.  There was a time when ponchos went out of style, but now they’re back in action, especially with the cold months quickly approaching!  These can definitely be dressed up with a pair of heeled booties and the right accessories.  How cute is that?

Which style are you going to try out?  They’re all so comfy yet fashionable! 🙂

Trend Alert: Overalls!

Overalls are a trend that have been considered “out” for a long time!  But recently, they’ve made a huge comeback anywhere from Forever21 to Express to Nordstrom.  You may be picturing the typical long, jean overalls but there are actually many different styles and colors that are much more popular!

Chelsea Crockett - OverallsFirst, you’ll need to decide if you want long or short overalls.  There’s also the option of getting overalls with a skirt if you want to get a nicer pair!  Some pairs will have the typical pockets on the front and back of the overalls but others, like the one on the left, will have a sleeker look without pockets that you can dress up.

After you decide the style you want, you’ll have to pick a color.  I’m sure there are all different colors to choose from, but some colors I’ve seen a lot more than others.  Jean is obviously the most popular and the color you’ll see most in stores!  It matches with everything and can be a casual look for a day out with friends!  As for other colors, other popular ones include black, white, light pink, or army green.  Get one of these colors to mix it up!

Are you going to get a pair?  Let me know below which style is your favorite!

Fall 2016 Off-the-Shoulder Style

Off-the-shoulder style is one of my favorite looks.  It gives off an elegant, feminine vibe that can sometimes be hard to pull off with a simple piece of clothing.  But…

Off-the-shoulder style is one of my favorite looks.  It gives off an elegant, feminine vibe that can sometimes be hard to pull off with a simple piece of clothing.  But with off-the-shoulder shirts and dresses, you can put together a classy outfit in seconds!

One of my favorite materials for fall is suede, so pairing it with this style is super cute!  Chelsea Crockett - Suede DressThe dress on the left is a good example of this.  Pairing it with wedged booties, a choker, and a bold lip creates a perfect dressy outfit for fall.  Maybe you have a dinner date or an event that you have to dress up for.  This look is elegant, classy, and can be dressed up or dressed down!

If you want a more casual off-the-shoulder look for fall, another fave outfit of mine is a denim, long-sleeved shirt.  Denim is another one of my favorite fall materials, whether it be a denim jacket, skirt, etc.  It’s an easy color to pair with black jeans and a cute hat!

Apart from suede dresses and denim tops, there are so many different off-the-shoulder looks you can come up with!  A lot of stores will be selling fall-inspired tops so keep an eye out! 🙂

I know it’s still early in the spring, but if you think about it, summer is really not that far away!  Only a couple more months and it’s June, crazy right?  That means you need to start building your perfect summer wardrobe.  In Australia, there are beaches almost everywhere and palm trees lining your path to them.  If a country knows best about summer style, it’s Australia.  Here are a few summer clothing lines that are starting to spread to the US and other parts of the world!

You may have heard me mention the brand Sabo Skirt once or twice in my past articles.  Sabo Skirt is an online store based from Australia.  They sell high waisted shorts, maxi skirts, cutout dresses, rompers, and much, much more!  Their prices are reasonable and the quality of their products is great!  The colors and patterns of their clothes are super fun and summery.  Check it out!

If you’re in need of a new Chelsea Crockett - Triangl swimsuit or two, take a look at the brand Triangl.  Triangl is also based from Australia and has a unique twist to their suits.  The material used is one similar to a wetsuit.  Fun, right?  You can pick a bandeau or triangle styled top with a cheetah pattern, snakeskin pattern, neon colored, etc.  Although they are a little pricey, the cute patterns and styles are 100% worth it.

Aussie stores are the perfect place to start your summer shopping.  Good luck!
