Prom is just around the corner…are you ready? Or should I say, are your arms ready? They have been hiding out under sleeves and hoodies all winter and haven’t seen the light of day in a while. Are they ready to be shown off in your prom gown? If you think they could use a little toning, repeat this arm workout during your regular gym time to get them ready to rock!

Repeat 3 times:

20 pushups

15 bicep curls

15 shoulder presses

20 tricep dips

15 hammer curls

10 front raises

I love working out at the gym, but sometimes you just don’t want to leave your house to get your cardio in. Plus, running on a treadmill or even outside…

I love working out at the gym, but sometimes you just don’t want to leave your house to get your cardio in. Plus, running on a treadmill or even outside can get boring. Here is a great running substitute that you can do from your living room!

  • 1 minute jogging
  • 1 minute mountian climbers
  • 1 minute jump rope
  • 1 minute jumping jacks
  • 1 minute ski jumps
  • 1 minute power skips
  • 1 minute front kicks
  • 1 minute high knees
  • 1 minute squats
  • 1 minute butt kicks

If you don’t know how to some of these moves, google them! This workout is great because it goes by so quick. It never gets boring because every minute the move changes!

The struggle to keep belly fat away during the winter is real. SO REAL. Where I live it is so cold, and sometimes it is too icy or snowy to leave the house to go to the gym or exercise outside. I am always looking for new and creative ways to get workouts in at home. Here is one of my favorite killer ab workouts!

Do 4 rounds of this:

  • 30 V-ups
  • 60 bicycles
  • 30 weighted sit-ups
  • 60 flutter kicks
  • 30 toe touches
  • 60 mountian climbers
  • ¼ mile run

If you arent sure how to do some of the moves you can look them up! This ab workout will have your tummy muscles burning up a storm. Getting a workout in every day, even If it is just 10 minutes, is so important to get your heart pumpin and muscles moving every day!

Are you ever in the mood to work out but you have no idea what kind of exercise to do? Or, are you constantly bored and want a productive way…

Are you ever in the mood to work out but you have no idea what kind of exercise to do? Or, are you constantly bored and want a productive way to pass your time? Then, ladies, I have a solution!

This cute, quick DIY will save you from your boredom and lack of workout ideas. All you need is popsicle sticks and 2 dc2b9baec297ab8ac023185fce42d528solo cups. What you are going to do is you are going to write workouts on each popsicle stick, they don’t have to be anything super special or long, and put them in one of the solo cups labled “workouts to do”. Then label the other cup “workouts done”. Once you complete a workout on one of the sticks, stick it in the “done” cup! It is so rewarding to see all of the sticks in the “done” cup as the number of sticks in the “to do” cup gets smaller and smaller. Here are a few workout ideas that you can put on the sticks: 25 burpees, 50 jumping jacks, 10 push-ups, 30 crunches, 20 squats, 60 second plank. None of the workouts mentioned require any equipment and can all be done at home! Have fun thinking of workouts and adding them to sticks! Once you have moved all of the sticks from “to do” to “done”, reward yourself! It is a great way to motivate you to work out, and it is also a creative way to pass spare time!

Do you know what “AMRAP” means? It means “as many rounds as possible”. This is a popular style of workout in crossfit, and I do this kind of workout a lot as well! It is quick, easy, and effective! You don’t need any equipment for this workout, so you can do it any time anywhere. Here is a 20 minute workout where you repeat the rounds as many times as you can in that time. Here are the exercises!

10 burpees

20 push ups

30 sit ups

40 squats

50 second plank

It is so cool seeing how many rounds I can burn through in the short amount of time that I am given! It is so rewarding. If you have 20 minutes to spare, knock this workout out of the park!
